Collection: Wetsuits
WHAT ARE WETSUITS?
Wetsuits are a type of protective clothing made from neoprene, a synthetic rubber material that is both waterproof and insulating. When worn, a wetsuit creates a layer of water between the skin and the suit, which is then warmed by the body's heat, creating a comfortable and insulated environment. This makes wetsuits ideal for use in cold water, as they help to keep the body warm and prevent hypothermia.
TYPES OF WETSUITS
There are many different types and styles of wetsuits available on the market, each designed for specific watersports and water temperatures. Some common types of wetsuits include:
Full wetsuits: Full wetsuits cover the entire body, with long sleeves and legs. These wetsuits provide the most insulation and are ideal for use in colder water.
Shorty wetsuits: Shorty wetsuits have short sleeves and legs, and are typically worn in warmer water. They provide less insulation than full wetsuits, but offer more flexibility and mobility.
Spring wetsuits: Spring wetsuits are a type of wetsuit with a thinner layer of neoprene that is worn in warmer water. They provide less insulation than full or shorty wetsuits, but are more comfortable to wear in warmer temperatures.
